From Karawang to Middle East

Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia bases its position gradually Toyota exports to the global market. The latest model in the export is the Toyota Vios. From its factory in Karawang, West Java, agile sedan TMIN send it to Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Lebanon and Yemen. Previous Vios already exported to Bruei Darussalam and Singapore since December 2013.

In the initial phase will be limited export 1000 units per month, but will gradually increase to 3,000 units.

Toyota Vios Indonesia started production Plant II at the end of 2013. The localization project is the realization of investments announced by the President of Toyota Motor Corporation of Japan, Akio Toyoda Toyota Group company with five others in 2012 ago.

With an investment of Rp 3.3 trillion in the second factory has a production capacity of 120,000 units per year. The plant produces Etios Valco, Limo and Yaris.

Other Toyota production facilities that factory manufactures Innova and Fortuner with a production capacity of 130,000 units per year. In total Indonesian Toyota plants have a production capacity of 250,000 units per year.
